Parts Tracker

The first thing you need to know about the Parts Tracker application is that it is not meant for the regular user – it is meant to be used by workshop technicians, facilities managers, and pinspotter pinsetter mechanics. Developed specifically for tenpin bowling centers, this application comes with all the functionality you will need for inventory and facilities management.

To run the Parts Tracker application, your PC must meet the following minimum system requirements: 256MB of RAM memory, 256MHz processor, Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7. To make things simpler, if the PC can run Windows XP, it will have no problems running Parts Tracker as well. Please note that Parts Tracker needs the Microsoft Access runtime to function.

There are six buttons at the top of the application’s interface: Maintenance, Pats, Facilities, Orders, Finance, and Settings. What you see underneath these buttons depends on which button you click. There’s nothing complicated about the interface and it shouldn’t take long to get accustomed to it.

As mentioned above, the Parts Tracker application can be used for inventory and facilities management purposes. Here’s a closer look at the things that can be accomplished with the application: track spare parts, track equipment, record equipment maintenance, schedule maintenance tasks, monitor spending, print out purchase orders, and more.

Parts Tracker is only free to try, it is not freeware. You have 40 uses at your disposal to put the application to the test and evaluate the functionality it has to offer. Once these 40 uses are up, you will have to get a license to keep using the application.
